Connectus Health Offers Free Physicals, Immunizations for Children and Teens from June 1 to August 31

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- May 18, 2018 -- Throughout the months of June, July and August, federally qualified health center Connectus Health will provide free physicals and immunizations for children and teens at its Vine Hill (Nashville) and Priest Lake (Antioch area) locations.

“We strongly recommend that children and teens receive a preventative physical exam every year, as well as required sports physicals and back-to-school immunizations,” said Caroline Portis-Jenkins, Connectus Co-CEO. “In fact, students entering certain grades are required by the state to have specific immunizations. We can help.”

Parents and guardians interested in bringing children and teens for free physicals and/or immunizations should call (615) 292-9770 to make an appointment. Insurance will be billed for those who are covered -- as is customary with routine physicals and immunizations -- but all children and teens will receive care, regardless of their ability to pay or insurance status. Additional services are available but may incur cost.
